so it is april. as of writing this, it is the 12th but i will post this later. it is not the first thing i have written since february for this blog, but i have gotten into the habit of writing and not posting. interesting considering how much i overshare on here. at the moment i don't have my computer: it is in my dorm hours away by car, which is why i am delaying posting this. i also don't have anything else interesting a part from my phone. anyways for the past week, i have been bedridden facing a litany of different symptoms. of covid. because i have covid.

it may be clear that i am operating off a single brain cell atm. and that's fine. i'm fine. i actually am not, how the hell do i have a 103 fever for a week straight? how do i even get covid with all the vaccines and not interacting with people ever? that's fucked up. at least now it is clearing up

apparently i missed so many days of college that i might have to drop a class. i miss a WEEK and that's enough???? that's fucked up

also i decided to mask forever from now on. i held onto masking after most, and when i stopped it was due to wanting to be seen as normal. fuck that though, covid is still prevalent (also reduced dysphoria is cool too)

update on everything else: it all sucks all the same. the main reason i didn't post on march is because all the drafts were too emo from school. school just steamrolled me so hard. the president just destroyed the economy. hopefully this means the us permanently recedes from its dominance. bananas shouldn't be that cheap. but its effects for poor and working class usamericans and non usamericans will be awful.

i made the pretty bad decision to read vikram seth's a suitable boy. it is a great book, but it is long. like really long. and being sick, the only thing i had motivation for is youtube videos, so i haven't gotten far into it.

basically the title to this blog post is a reference to the ghost mountain song. i also listen to a lot of yeule, jane remover (especially her new album revengeseekerz), and dollywood1 at that time. i returned to my college on the 19th, so i missed 2 and a half weeks of class. i just passed the halfway mark of a suitable boy
